Cape Lookout Hike, 6/29/97

These photos were taken on a hiking trip that 12 interns went on to Cape Lookout State Park, near Tillamook, OR on 6/29/97. The weather was good that day and the trip was very enjoyable. Thanks to Sarah and Tina for organizing the trip.

Some photos from the trail...
A beach to the south of the trial. The trail we took is in on a peninsula.
These photos are to the North.
At our lunch rest area.
The ocean, clipped by the end of the roll of film.
Group photo after lunch, before we hit the trail back.
At our lunch area, this greenery which was typical on the trail.
Looking back towards the beach.
Some flowers along the trail.
There should be a snake in this photo somewhere.
After we got back to the trailhead, we went to a nearby beach. This area contained areas of shallow water, which was actually warm and packets of soft sand, which your feet can sink into.
This photo didn't turn out too well. This is looking back towards the cars.
This is looking generally south.
Photo taken while driving, on the way back.
