These photos were taken from the plane on my flight from Sacramento to Phoenix on the morning of December 8th.
It was somewhat cloudy when I left Sacramento.

Fortunately it cleared up soon as we crossed the Sierra Nevada mountains near Lake Tahoe.

These are pictures from the Deer Valley Rock Art Center, which showcases petroglyphs made in the Hedgpeth Hills hundreds and thousands of years ago.
